BURLINGTON ARCADE UNIFOrMS
The Joshua Kane Brand extends further than his collections and the runway. In 2024 Mr Kane was commissioned to redesign The Burlington Beadles uniforms for the world renowned Burlington Arcade. The Arcade is has been a cornerstone of Mayfair luxury shopping for 205 years, and the new uniform design is the first in over a decade.
Kane’s design titled ‘The Mayfair Dandy’ was inspired by sartorial Mayfair characters such as Oscar Wilde and tailored in rich British woven fabrics. Seductive deep colours of burgundy and navy are the backbone of Kane’s colour palette, inspired by Burlington Arcade's archive but a tone darker and richer when interpreted into wools and velvets.
A morning coat tailored with a shawl collar becomes the staple tailored garment for the Beadles' new ensemble, featuring a series of custom woven trims and adorned with a ‘Rosette’ motif gold dome button. The ensemble also features a signature stripe waistcoat, once again inspired by the Burlington heritage colour palette.
CRYSTAL HEAD
In December of 2022 a brand new collaboration between Joshua Kane and Crystal Head Vodka was introduced. Joshua Kane tailored the iconic Crystal Head Vodka glass skull bottle in a hand crafted cover in 3 unique colour ways. Each fabric exclusively designed by Kane and woven in England then patchworked together to create the one of a kind accessories. A limited edition run of 200 pieces were made available in store at Selfridges London, Birmingham, Manchester Trafford, Manchester Exchange Square.
COSTUME DESIGN
With Kane’s ethos being ‘creating tailoring to reflect one's personality’ our involvement with the big screen and television has always felt like a natural extension of the brand.
